The collector behind the vault
Iconic Vaults is run by Steve — an experienced private collector who has spent years buying, holding, and occasionally parting with pieces across sports, film, print, music, and design.
The vault exists because the usual ways of buying collectibles felt wrong: noisy marketplaces, pressure tactics, and descriptions that promised more than the piece could prove. This site is the opposite — a quiet room where a conversation starts.
Pieces also move through established marketplaces where Steve has sold for years; links to those storefronts appear here once they're ready to share. Nothing on this site is a live listing.
Honesty before sale
If we don't know something about a piece, we say so. Illustrative studies are labeled illustrative; verified pieces are labeled verified. There is no third category.
Fewer, better conversations
We don't run a storefront here. A small number of collectors, a small number of pieces, and time taken over both.
Provenance is a question, not a slogan
We help you ask the right questions — documentation, history, condition — and we never use the word 'authenticated' unless it is genuinely, demonstrably true.
